The fahrenheit temperature display and chrome hood star are included as sort of a bonus. This lock set is not designed for the left hand drive Mercedes W124 300e or 300ce. The display requires your car's 5 pin female connector to work properly.

The chrome hood star is in far better than average condition with a lot of shine yet to give. The key left in buzzer connections are intact and undamaged.

No separation issues on this one. Did you get a good deal at offer on a left hand drive Mercedes W124 four door or coupe but it has no keys perhaps an ex has a set of your keys and won't give'em back.

I removed these locks from a well cared for 1988 Mercedes 300e. The condition of the star shows no evidence of rust. I have priced this listing for what you would expect to pay for the ignition lock, housing, switch and door locks alone.

Other than three tiny nicks on the inner right side edge of the ring, I can see no other stone contact points. This lock set is not designed for the Mercedes W124 diesel. The five pin fahrenheit outside temperature display and chrome hood star pictured are not part of the listing price.

Parts you would expect to pay around 45 for. It can not be connected to a four pin connector found on some early 1986 production W124s.
