The tape sealing the box has been cut to inspect the part when I first received it but it is in all of the original packaging. This part is the real VW Audi part it is not a cheap imitation part. It was purchased to replace the lock in my 01 VW beetle's front driver door, however I traded the car in before I had a chance to replace the part of my vehicle.
