This is the drivers door latch lock assembly out of my 2012 dodge Durango. The vehicle has never been wrecked and 64k miles.
I purchased a new lock assembly, assuming mine was bad. My interior light was not coming on, nor the door ajar indicator. It is not worth my time to take out the newly installed lock assembly so I am selling removed one here. The door ajar switch is integrated into lock assembly.
It will save you time and money. After replacing this with the new one, my problem still existed. I then discovered that had a broken wire at the harness in door hinge area last picture.
