The steering column lock pin is undamaged. This may resolve the issue with the glove box lock with repeated use.

There is no buzzer connection on this assembly. If you wish, mount the better looking door handle on the driver's door. Please look carefully at the first picture.

But I can not guarantee this. Scrapes and scratches to painted surfaces. This lock was on the 300sd trunk.

There is no key for the undamaged trunk lock. The steering wheel lock feature extends instantly when the key is removed.

The key hole dust cover doors are functional. The door handle's tension return feature works great. The master key in the first picture will insert and exit the damaged trunk lock easy enough. Now the key return springs on both handles work just like they should.

Looking for genuine used Mercedes W126 locks for your 1981 to 1984 left hand drive diesel I removed these locks from a 1982 Mercedes W126 300sd. The trunk lock tumbler in the foreground has suffered damage.

Pull on the door handle and let go. The key inserts the glove box lock with a very light bit of effort. The vacuum shut off valve is fully functional.

The locks are used so some wear is to be expected. But the key does not rotate the damaged trunk lock fully. All the used Mercedes parts you see here are included in this offer.

I found an undamaged trunk lock in the trunk. In any case the master key works all the other locks without any tumbler hangups. A less than brilliant shine to chrome surfaces.

By this I mean dirt grime still on the back side of the locks. The master key inserts, rotates smoothly and exits the ignition lock just like it should. The ignition switch tested just fine.

I can rotate the key about 1/4 of the way. Possibly a previous owner was going to attempt a repair with it. Just never got around to it. With a slight dent on the driver's door handle key hole door plate as mentioned.

Possibly from the lock not being used these many years. These locks are designed for the 1981 to 1984 left hand drive Mercedes W126 diesel.

I have treated all the locks with wd40. The chrome shine on both door handles is fair. They look great for their age.

The door handles are not designed to activate your factory alarm if so equipped. I see no evidence of scuffs or scratches on the door handles that need mentioning.

Clearance sale price reduced. And a slight dent in the key hole dust cover plate on what was the drivers door.
