But the keys were lost some time ago. For now, install the better working door lock on your driver's side door. The steering wheel lock feature extends instantly when the key is removed.
The value of the problem door lock is not included in the price. The buzzer connections work. The key inserts, rotates smoothly and exits the ignition lock. All are fully functional.

But not without several gentle attempts. As seen in the ninth picture, I have rotated the key in this lock. I have priced this lock set as if it had only one door lock.
You can feel the ignition switch engage with full key rotation. The steering column lock pin is fully operational.
The ignition housing assembly will not fit the right hand drive W201 or the 1984 to 1989 Mercedes W201 190E. See shipping details. But it would not rotate to the right on any of my attempts. This door lock, for the most part, has a tumbler problem preventing the key's ability to rotate.
Harsh attempts to rotate the key provides no result at all. Please on any picture to see larger more detailed views of these parts. I did manage to hand clean most of the gunk off these locks. The master key fits all the locks, except one door lock, without issue.
These parts are used so some wear is to be expected. The key return springs on both door handle locks are intact and undamaged. By this I mean possible scuffs and nicks here and there. I removed this lock set from a 1991 left hand drive Mercedes W201 190E.
All the used parts you see here are genuine used Mercedes parts. Or an ex has a set and won't give'em back. But, there is still evidence of a bit of old grease dirt grime in areas on the back side of the locks.
Most of them anyway. And are intact and undamaged. There is minor scuffing of the paint on the ignition lock barrel. This lock set has one door lock, as mentioned above, that is not reliable.

I have included a section of the transmission interlock cable attached to the ignition housing that may aid in your installation. The key rotated left, as if to lock the door.
